VikingPLoP 2013 announced!

Oh the happy times!

VikingPLoP 2013 has been announced. It will be held in Tampere Region, Finland from 21st to 24th of March. See more information at http://www.vikingplop.org/
Please distribute the CfP to all interested parties you might know.

VikingPLoP 2012 proceedings will be published soon

We are working hard on the proceedings of VikingPLoP 2012 and we expect to finish the work within a next few weeks. The proceedings will be published primarily in electronic form.

Additionally, we are planning the next years event as well. Stay tuned for the news on that.

VikingPLoP 2012 is over

Hi all,

VikingPLoP is over and it's time to start working on the proceedings versions of the papers. We expect the proceedings versions of the papers to be submitted until 30th of September 2012 using EasyChair system.

VikingPLoP 2012 in less than half a month

The winter is turning to spring and VikingPLoP is approaching quickly. The shepherding deadline is over and all the accepted papers are available for reading. The participants are expected to read these papers according to the track they were assigned to. Please, do your best and prepare good feedback for the authors. Your paper will receive a similar process and you will want the best possible outcome.

All the authors received an email which discusses shortly about the arrival to Saariselkä. Be prepared for the weather and check all the information on the VikingPLoP site to be ready for a full PLoP experience. Check the program to keep yourself informed of all tracks and workshops there will be.

12 papers accepted for the conference

It has been a busy day reviewing all the papers. The result was that 12 papers was accepted for writer's workshop in VikingPLoP 2012. In addition, we have one, still pending, suggestion for a focus group topic.

We would like to congratulate the authors whose paper was accepted to the conference. Registration has also opened. Participants should register for the conference latest at 2nd of March.

Registration now open!

Today's weather conditions inTampere: -21 degrees celcius. Tomorrow - 25 degrees of celcius. What else you got to do than to plan the upcoming conference?

We have been working hard and we are proud to announce that the registration for VikingPLoP 2012 is now open. Please visit conference website (www.vikingplop.org) and register for the conference.

Shepherding is proceeding well and we will probably end up with two tracks. One for pure software engineering papers and another track for papers with more human touch.

The submission deadline has passed

Hello all!

We are really excited about VikingPLoP 2012 finally coming true. The submission deadline was last monday and we got 11 submissions on several different topics, so the conference will be really interesting and fun.

You can can follow this blog for updates and to get information on how the organization of the event is progressing. If you are tweeting, please use #VikingPLoP hashtag on your tweets.

Right now we are sending the confirmation e-mails to all authors and will get them in touch with their own shepherds. The shepherds are expected to contact sheeps next week. Please, make use of all the feedback the shepherd can provide you.
